Survived largely due to their indigenous population and rural communities. Republic of Costa Rica ; Closed borders and relying on self now; suffering from lack of trade and contaminated water. Republic of El Salvador ; Shut down borders and relying on self now; suffering from lack of trade, contaminated water and, natural disasters, living on due to several enclaves of their people in old ruins. South America: Argentine Republic ; Split into several enclaves, their indigenous population seceding from the republic in the chaos of the plague. Plurinational State of Bolivia ; Split down the middle between the Andean east, (the indigenous population), and the east lowlands. Federative Republic of Brazil ; Thanks to a civil war has become extremely weak and sick, split into several smaller enclaves, most of the indigenous population has split. Republic of Peru ; Split into several surviving groups within the mountains, rather weak and ill. Republic of Chile ; Having border skirmishes with surviving Peruvians still, ill and in the north of his mountains. Republic of Ecuador ; Isolated from his siblings, ill and in hiding in the Amazon rain forest. [li]Saami ; One of the stronger surviving nations, the cold killed most of the plague off and thanks to such has gone farther up north into the Lapland with Finland.[/li]
[li]Republic of Finland ; Weakened and sick, he went north when the plague hit, where most of his people who survived lived. He has been sticking it out with Saami and is looking for the rest of the Nordics with them.[/li]
[li]Kingdom of Sweden ; Ill, weak, and suffering a good deal. The bottom half of his land is submerged and radiated. He has gone north, already having caught up with Norway.[/li]
[li]Kingdom of Norway ; Had no nuclear energy so, better off than many countries, slightly ill from the plague, has taken to the waters. He does not know if any of his family other than Sweden has survived.[/li]
[li]Republic of Iceland ; Survived thanks to his rather small population and being far off from Europe and other land masses, ill but has congregated together in the south where the land is the most livable. He does not know any of his family survived as well.

• Russian Federation ; Suffering from radiation poisoning in the west, lacking resources to the west, currently in Siberia.
• Republic of Poland ; Has not been seen in several years, has a community out in the Sudetes mountains.
• Romania ; Suffering from radiation poisoning thanks to Ukraine's fallout.
• Republic of Belarus ; Been missing since the middle of the war.
• Hungary ; Wounded from fighting, she took refuge in her mountains to regain strength.
• Republic of Armenia ; Shut down borders and is suffering from radiation fallout and contaminated water, only a few handful of survivors but, government is strong and borders are highly deafened.

Southern Europe:

• Vatican City ; Weakened more than prior, has moved locations entirely to a censored town in Sicily. They're keeping their location hidden from others, just in case.
  

• Basque ; Barely survived the plague, suffering from radiation poisoning thanks to both France and Spain, currently residing with Brittany to regain some strength.
  

• Republic of Bulgaria ; Extremely ill and suffering from radiation poisoning, survived thanks to small enclaves of his culture in the mountains, one of which is where he is currently residing at.
  

• Republic of Albania ; Many rich citizens went underground into scattered bunkers that had been built ages ago, survived thanks to them but is in no way healthy.
  

Western Europe:

• East Germany / Prussia ; Has been missing for several years now, presumed to be alive only because of Ernst Thälmann Island.

• Principality of Liechtenstein ; Taken over by Switzerland to prevent the plague from entering her borders.

Central Asia

• Kyrgyz Republic ; Most of their people have returned to nomadic ways across Central Asia, not entirely weakened but, has no one set place to stay.
  

• Mongolia ; Thanks to a lot of his people being nomadic, he survived without entirely too much damage, though is very weak thanks to losing 50% of his population. Suffering from some radiation thanks to Russia and has returned to nomadic old ways, staying to the steppes and the Gobi desert.
  

• Republic of Kazakhstan ; Has gone to the center of the country, into rural areas, civil unrest rising, along with bouts of plague causing them to be rather ill.

West Asia

• State of Palestine ; Survived only thanks to refugees, currently nomadic and tends to stick to where ever the most of their refugees are.

Southeast Asia

• Socialist Republic of Vietnam ; Staying up north, close to the Chinese border, weakened and suffering from the plague.

• Kingdom of Thailand ; Has abandoned his southern half, currently residing in the Grand Palace.
  

• Kingdom of Cambodia ; Shut down borders, but suffering greatly nonetheless. Has fled to the ruins of their old temples.
  

• Republic of the Union of Myanmar ; Has fallen back into it's old ways, split between its several ethnic groups and gang leaders in more central, urbanized areas. Ill and in constant pain from the civil unrest and bouts of plague within the country.
  

• Malaysia ; Abandoned their peninsula, now only in Malaysian Borneo, near Indonesia. Shut down all borders when the plague hit, relying entirely on their self now.
  

South Asia

• Tibet ; Very ill thanks to radiation from India but, is surviving. Has taken this chance to actually break away from China and is with Nepal, currently.
  

• Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal ; Gone into the high mountains where the cold killed most of the plague off, has not touched level ground in years, has Tibet with them.
  

East Asia

• Republic of China / Taiwan ; Went into complete isolation and is dealing with a lack of resources as well as nuclear fallout from other East Asian countries. Starving and suffering from some radiation, but alive.

oceania

Australasia

• Commonwealth of Australia ; Suffered great losses from the plague, still recovering his strength from that, lost most of his east and north land- has stuck to South Australia mostly with Cornwall.

• New Zealand ; Shut down borders, was not entirely affected from the plague, has set up trade routes and currently dealing with break away states.
  

Oceania

• Independent State of Samoa ; Isolated and lacking some resources needed, however was easily able to adapt to the plague and lack of technology.

• Federated States of Micronesia ; Returned to traditional ways while keeping up some trade with New Zealand and Australia beyond this has no contact with the other islands.
  

• Republic of Fiji ; Suffering from sporadic seasonal environmental disasters; there is growing conflict between the Fijians and the Indo-Fijians, cause them chronic pain. Worry of a civil war is on their mind.
  

• New Caldonia ; Fighting has been breaking out between the indigenous population and the descendants of settlers, sometimes resulting in full out riots, they are very weak from this plus lacking any help from the now defunct French Government whom they use to rely on.
  

• Guam ; Split between the military of the United States and the indigenous population, relations are tense with lack of resources, especially with the military attempting to find ships to bring in American refugees.
  

• Republic of Kiribati ; Some of the islands are submerging, causing them to become weaker and weaker, has however, set up trading posts and docks on uninhabited islands for the stray ships that come through.
  

• Kingdom of Tonga ; Shut down borders and thus got by unscathed, easily returned to traditional ways in shape of this new world, has set up trade with New Zealand once more.
  

• Republic of the Marshall Islands ; Suffering from flooding in certain areas and on and off droughts in others, islands are sinking causing them to become sicker and sicker.
  

• Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands ; Has set up trading posts and naval bases in many of their uninhabited islands, sick from lack of economy and lack of resources- plus radiated water.
  

• Tuvalu ; Extremely sick, suffering from nearly entire population loss and extreme flooding- most islands are sinking. May not last very long.
  

• Republic of Nauru ; Extremely sick from losing 85% of their population, has some refugees who have come to join their mines, which they use to set up a giant mining trade but, most islands are uninhabitable.

Northern Africa

• Republic of the Sudan ; Survived only thanks to refugees, currently nomadic and tends to stick to where ever the most of their refugees are.

Southern Africa

• Republic of Zimbabwe ; Lost most control of the region, a civil war is brewing between the indigenous population and the descendants of white colonists.

• Republic of Madagascar ; Closed their borders as soon as the plague hit, and thus escaped great harm. Has little to no contact with other nations.
  

• Republic of Mozambique ; Shut down borders once the war spread to Africa and the plague hit, better off than most other countries
  

• Federal Republic of Somalia ; Government was barely getting to feet when the war hit and began to spread into Africa, the plague wiped out most of the government reverting them back into a government-less culture, is sick and ill but surviving.
  

• Republic of Botswana ; Has a strong government thus the reason of their survival, setting up trade routes and working on setting up trade into Europe.
  

Western Africa:

• Republic of Ghana ; Weakened due to in country fighting between ethnic groups and bouts of plague that survived in areas. Barely holding on.

• Togolese Republic ; Ill from the plague which was survived in their country but, strong government and nationalism currently.

• Republic of Liberia ; Sick, very weak but nationalism is stronger than their government, has made it by unscathed compared to others.
  

• Gabonese Republic ; Suffering largely due to their reliance on outside trade and bouts of plague, government shut down most of the borders and is attempting to rely on self.
  

• Republic of Guinea-Bissau ; Weak, government is gone and their people have split into ethnic groups across their land. May not survive long.
