Shaw, Oliver TFoE Techno, Eref Britain 18 Male Unsure I'll ne'er gain be who I was: a child before my soul took flight APPEARANCE 5'9 144 lb Pale Brown-black Short Green Erephisia's hair is a thick texture like England's and dark brownish-black like Australia's color. It's a bit hard to tame, and especially sticks up in the back-even though he does try to comb it down every once and a while. He has the bushy British eyebrows, which really should be a given, considering his British roots. His eyes are asparagus-green in color, and while he does have prescription steampunk goggles, he'll sometimes keep those pulled up on his head when opting for a regular pair of glasses. He's a bit pale in complexion from spending a lot of time indoors working on gizmos here and there, and can occasionally be found with his face streaked with paints or any other materials he's been working with; he's not very careful. Over the bridge of his nose is a medium-light dusting of freckles. He's rather thin and lanky in build, but he has a decent height of 5'9. In terms of clothing, he sometimes opts for either a Japanese high school boy's black uniform, but most commonly he tries shooting for steampunk-type style. A white shirt, a dark vest, pants, boots and occasionally a long coat is not unusual for him. He'll often keep a pocket watch on him, also-regardless on if this actually works or not, it completes the image and looks good, at the very least. Don't be afraid of who I am, this strength is what I've come into PERSONALITY Erephisia's greatest strength is his mind; he's obsessed with science and learning, especially in the field of technology. Joining his nation, in fact, comes with a requirement: one book per person, and if the person doesn't have a book, they must keep up a daily journal to document the state of things or write new books. He believes that documenting knowledge and passing it on through future generations is essential. Other than that, he's pretty geeky, a major fan of science fiction and steampunk, such as Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Harry Potter. He's also a big fan of music, archaeology, and legos, and actually has a small scale model of his capital built out of legos. He's vegetarian, or at least he tries to be-considering the recent state of things, he's had to break being picky every now and then. He loves inventing things and strives to constantly advance his nation's technology, describing himself as "steampunkian". He actually has little fear, although that does not mean he enjoys fighting; he'd really rather negotiate things out before going to war. That being said, he's rather helpful and quick to set to work. Helping other nations and establishing alliances has helped to keep him out of war for the most part, and when he is dragged in, he's usually decently protected by his allies. Due to some past betrayals (mostly before the plague), he can tend to be a bit extra-wary. Despite all of his alliances and the fact that he'll be friendly and polite with allies, he doesn't truly start to trust them until at least a few months in, or until they prove their loyalty to the alliance. As a product of his wariness, he usually has some sort of contingency plan in place. EXTRA |

HISTORY
Erephisia existed for about ten years-give or take-before the war and plague struck, though under various different names. Each incarnation collapsed from disagreements and lack of interest, which makes it a bit difficult for him to trust. Before the plague, he was in the works of solidifying his government, his culture, his nation overall. There isn't much to say for him pre-plague, really: he was the average micronation, updating his internet wikis and websites, fanboying at his favorite shows and inventing new things. Ironically, it is when everything collapsed that he began to flourish.
After the plague, panics broke out all across Britain. It was martial law, then anarchy, especially in some parts. His boss decided it was as good a time as any to step up to the plate for leadership, to establish some sort of order in all of the chaos. He got a pretty good following, and what's left of the original town (as the infected zones were burned to ash) has become the capital of the new nation within former England. The nation treasures books and knowledge and records, so all spare books were requested to be donated to the library. It is in fact a policy for new citizens to either arrive with a book or start a new book or journal of daily life, as record-keeping and the contribution of ideas are essential.
Erephisia's strongest and most noteworthy advantage is his technology. He has an ongoing project to help convert the rest of the capital to solar and wind power. When things started being thrown into disarray, when micronations rose up as nations and began warring with one another, he quickly sprang into action, forging alliances with surrounding micronations through the promise of technological help-not so much with combat, unless it was absolutely necessary, but more so with other necessities. His major ongoing project with allies is establishing telegraph lines and trying to ensure that each of them has at least one ham radio. Each morning around dawn, he receives telegraphs from each of his allies about news, economics, weather, but most importantly, about wind paths and radioactive levels. He'll then broadcast the information over the ham radio for a short period each morning, realizing the importance of battery conservation. Plans for extending the availability of electricity to allies is on his to-do list, but not until he is finished ensuring its availability to all of his own people. In the meantime, his allies are welcome to visit and take notes to bring back home.
Erephisia tends to be pretty passive-aggressive, though fearless; he tries not to involve himself directly in the conflicts of his allies, especially if said ally is launching an offensive attack to another in order to extend their borders. His belief is that if everyone would settle down and get along, they would excel far more and everyone would be in a much better state. But he will protect and hold his own borders, and is confident of the protection he receives from allies as well. In that regard, as well needing as many perishable resources, he is rather dependent on said allies.
